Today, I called Johnny Rockets to see if I could get approval to film at the restaurant and it was a success. Not only is it the best 50s themed restaurant but the manager is allowing us to film our film opening at the restaurant. I was planning on getting shots of the milkshakes and burgers because all of their foods are foods that are likely to show up in a 50s themed movie.
This is the perfect setting for the movie and it has been the part of this film journey that has been stressful for Daniel and I. We can now plan accordingly and start our storyboard after we get the details of the setting and mice-en-scene in order.
Follow me through my journey of making a film opening. Experience the obstacles; the highs and the lows of my partner, Daniel, and I as we produce our very own opening.
